Head of Product

JOB OVERVIEW

Based on market knowledge, research and a devotion to the MOO customer, the Head of Product will be responsible for the sales growth and development of MOO’s physical product portfolio and the online retail experience. He/she will lead the vision to ensure that MOO offers remarkable custom physical products that consumers want, and oversee the customer experience to maximize revenue.

More specifically, this position will be responsible for:

Market & Consumer Intelligence/Evangelism
  • Managing the collection and analysis of consumer data and third party research to develop insights for both physical product development and an improved online retail experience and the expansion of MOO Designs
  • Identifying trends within potential customer segments or product segments for new products or enhancements for existing ones
  • Create product business plans including ROI analysis, competitive research & technology assessment
Product Vision
  • Leading and developing the product vision in conjunction with the VP Marketing Sales and sell it to the management team
  • Constantly reviewing the existing portfolio against competitors to identify opportunities to increase sales and conversion by changing pricing, promotion or online experience
  • Recommending new products or enhancements to existing products in order to maximize the life-time value of a MOO customer and overall sales
  • Ensuring all Key Performance indicators are tracked and reported for all products
Optimisation
  • Work closely with Lead Interface Designer and other Product Managers to ensure that our products and services are timely and in demand
Product Development
  • Establish the product management process to ensure the broader team understands the product management function
  • Managing the product development and launch process for new MOO products line which includes:
    • Gathering requirements from cross-functional teams (tech, operations, merchandising and product design) and distilling in to a comprehensive Product Requirement Document
    • Work with Project Managers to develop a project plan for new product launches
    • Balance technical requirements with commercial/market viability

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-8 years experience in Product Management or Category Management
  • Keen commercial sense
  • Creativity crossed with an analytical mind
  • Strong leadership as well as highly developed entrepreneurial skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive skills
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment, and have demonstrated success leading marketing initiatives.
  • Must be a team player, self-starter, and results oriented.
  • Must be able to work on-site in London
  • Consumer Goods Marketing Experience an asset
  • An MBA is an asset


UX Designer

JOB OVERVIEW

The UX Designer owns the user interface of moo.com. You will be working closely with the Sales/Marketing team and Product Managers to achieve company goals. This position will be responsible for creating wireframes with high-level notes regarding functionality, for a high profile e-commerce website.

More specifically, this position will be responsible for:

  • Translating business goals into user-centered designs
  • Creating and presenting wireframes, process flows, information architecture
  • Analysing target audiences, tasks and user data as needed
  • Development of new features, products, and tools based on the written MRDs, storyboarding, specification, refinement, and sizing
  • Ensuring the consistency and appropriateness of user pathways and site architecture
  • Defining and documenting site standards, conventions, and policies
  • Designing and implementing A/B tests to increase conversion
  • Continually keeping the company up-to-date with the current best practice in interaction design
  • Usability testing, internally and via 3rd parties
  • Final functionality/interface signoff before launch

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in web design/user experience with a commercial website
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and visial skills, in-depth knowledge of user-centered design techniques and best practices
  • Experience creating wireframes Profiency in design tools such as Visio, Photoshop, illustrator, Dreamweaver. Basic knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way
  • Experience with content management systems, search engine optimization, and accessibility requirements
  • Translate business requirements into HTML pages which meet those requirements and relay information about both the requirements and the HTML to the developers
  • Experience interacting with developers
  • Experience working in Flash or ActionScript a huge plus
  • Must provide samples of user experience design work


Customer Support Representative

JOB OVERVIEW

MOO has an opening for a bilingual Customer Support Representative. This is a full time, permanent opportunity for qualified candidates. Our customers are our priority, and this position is the first non-automated contact that our customers have. It is vital to MOO’s success to have excellent customer services. The position involves a high level of professionalism over email. A good background within a call center or help desk would be a plus.

More specifically, this position will be responsible for:

  • Handle customer contact via email providing excellent customer service using tact and diplomacy
  • Handle customer inquiries ranging from order status, general product information, technical issues, pricing, and website questions
  • Be able to handle refunds, credits and returns requests
  • Be able to handle Customer Escalations in a professional way and transfer them to the Operations Supervisor as necessary
  • Be proactive and identify opportunities for improvements and communicate them to Supervisors

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Ability to solve problems in a diplomatic fashion
  • Extensive knowledge of the Internet
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Must be bilingual in English and one or more of the following: Spanish, Italian, French or German


Web Development Internship (API)

JOB OVERVIEW

MOO is looking for a tech intern to learn about our API and make awesome stuff with it.

We don't care what programming language (PHP, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc) you use. If it's one nobody's used before, you could be the first to write the wrapper library for it!

All you need are top-notch coding skills and some ideas for what to make. (Don't worry, we have plenty of ideas too!)
